SoundOfText.net is a lightweight text-to-speech tool for converting short written passages into spoken audio. It can help you hear pronunciation, review how a sentence sounds, prepare a quick voice reference or create a small audio clip for personal use.
Choose the language that matches your text
Speech usually sounds clearer when the selected voice language matches the words you enter. Use an English voice for English text, a Vietnamese voice for Vietnamese text and the corresponding option for other supported languages.
Use punctuation to improve pacing
Commas, periods and question marks give the speech engine useful pause points. If a sentence sounds rushed or unnatural, add punctuation and try again.
Keep long passages in smaller parts
The tool is designed for short text. When a long paragraph does not play correctly, divide it into shorter sentences or sections and generate them separately.
About audio processing
Your browser sends the entered text to a third-party speech service to generate audio. Do not enter passwords, private account data, confidential business information or other sensitive material.

Make sure the selected language matches your text, add punctuation and try a shorter sentence. Names and uncommon words may still be pronounced imperfectly.

The Open audio button opens the generated file in a new tab. Download options depend on your browser and device.
Why does the audio sometimes fail?+
The speech service may reject text that is too long, experience temporary limits or be unavailable. Shorten the text and try again later.
