HOW IT WORKS
Paste or type the short passage you want to hear.
Match the voice language to your text for clearer pronunciation.
Play it immediately or open the audio in a new tab.
SoundOfText.net is a lightweight text-to-speech tool for converting short written passages into spoken audio. It can help you hear pronunciation, review how a sentence sounds, prepare a quick voice reference or create a small audio clip for personal use.
Speech usually sounds clearer when the selected voice language matches the words you enter. Use an English voice for English text, a Vietnamese voice for Vietnamese text and the corresponding option for other supported languages.
Commas, periods and question marks give the speech engine useful pause points. If a sentence sounds rushed or unnatural, add punctuation and try again.
The tool is designed for short text. When a long paragraph does not play correctly, divide it into shorter sentences or sections and generate them separately.
Your browser sends the entered text to a third-party speech service to generate audio. Do not enter passwords, private account data, confidential business information or other sensitive material.
Do not use generated audio to impersonate another person, deceive listeners, violate privacy, harass others or reproduce material you do not have permission to use. You remain responsible for the text you submit and how the audio is used.
FAQ
The core text-to-speech interface can be used without creating an account. Availability may still depend on the connected speech service.
The website does not save your text to a user profile. The text is sent to a third-party speech service so audio can be generated.
Make sure the selected language matches your text, add punctuation and try a shorter sentence. Names and uncommon words may still be pronounced imperfectly.
The Open audio button opens the generated file in a new tab. Download options depend on your browser and device.
The speech service may reject text that is too long, experience temporary limits or be unavailable. Shorten the text and try again later.
